Lead Attorney

Lee Turner joined Coastal Disability Services as Lead Attorney with his primary emphasis being serving Social Security disability clients. Over the past fifteen years Lee has represented hundreds of claimants before the Social Security Administration at all levels of appeal including cases in Federal District Court. Lee is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives.
 
In addition, Lee has extensive Chancery and Circuit Court experience throughout South Mississippi representing clients in areas such as: land use disputes, personal injury, domestic relations, small business law, and general litigation. He also serves as the elected Greene County Prosecutor, Special Projects Counsel for the City of Leakesville and as the Municipal Prosecutor for the City of Leakesville where he continues to maintain an office and reside. Moreover, Lee has been appointed as Special Master in the Circuit Courts of Lamar, Pearl River and Hinds counties.
 
Lee is a native and resident of Leakesville, Mississippi and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi Law School in 2005. While in Law School he was a member of Phi Delta Phi, Journal of Space Law, and Moot Court. While in Moot Court he was the inaugural 2004 co-champion of the Mississippi Moot Court Competition between the University of Mississippi School of Law and Mississippi College School of Law.
 
Since 2005 Lee has served in the United States Coast Guard Reserve as commissioned officer where he has attained the rank of Commander. He has had extensive assignments in New Orleans, Washington, D.C., and Memphis in a variety of legal and non-legal billets. While in the Coast Guard he received an American Bar Association Legal Assistance for Military Personnel Team award for his work assisting hurricane impacted service members.

Managing Partner

Stephen W. Dummer is the Managing Partner at Coastal Disability Services. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, business law, forming business entities, drafting corporate formation agreements, corporate sale contracts, international law, insurance defense, construction law and estate planning. Stephen has also worked with performing compliance analysis for entities seeking Community Development Block Grants. Stephen is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and an accredited attorney for the preparation, presentation and prosecution of claims for veteran’s benefits before the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Stephen served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Chief Justice James Smith of the Mississippi Supreme Court in the summer of 2005 and received his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law in Oxford, Mississippi. He studied international law at the University of Cambridge in England. Stephen completed his B.A. in criminal justice with honors at the University of Wyoming and his A.A. with honors at Northwest College in Wyoming. In 2010, the Gulfport Sun-Herald named Stephen on their list of Top 10 Business Leaders Under 40, and he is a graduate of the “Leadership Gulf Coast” Class of 2011-2012.

Stephen is licensed to practice law in all jurisdictions in Mississippi, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
